Here Comes The Judd

By Alexander Tresniowski/Reported by Wendy Cole

THE JUDDS are no more. The popular mother-daughter duo,
known as much for their 18 No. 1 country-and-western songs as
for the fact that it's fun trying to tell them apart, staged an
emotional farewell concert in Tennessee last week, a
pay-per-view extravaganza that capped a yearlong 118-city
farewell tour. Mother Naomi and daughter Wynonna (or is it the
other way around?) are ending their professional partnership
because of Naomi's battle with chronic hepatitis, but Wynonna
will embark on a solo singing career, with occasional help from
Mom.
